Killzone 2
Our brief was to drive 75,000 editorial UK users to the download page, and to help generate buzz around, a free browser game promoting PlayStation 3’s Killzone 2 game – once installed the browser toolbar based game launched monsters at the user randomly as they browsed the web; ahead of the full Playstation 3 release.
Targeting mainly male hardcore gamers, seeding included site takeovers on Gamenet and Mousebreaker as well as network seeding and drive 75 ,000 people to the game, with 20,000 of those downloading and installing the game.
On top of that, the monthly Gamenet newsletter featured a Killzone 2 takeover.
